Thread: Question about back-up
02-21-2007, 02:48 AM #1Question about back-up
Well I need to bring my MacBook in to have a problem with the screen fixed again. Since it seems like a hardware problem, the store replaced my hard drive last time I brought it in. I want to avoid all my data being lost, and I want to do it without paying $85 for the store to do it.
Is there any app that can help me back up my files (music, photos, and SETTINGS). if not I'll just be manually transferring files on to the PC and I guess I'll have to redo all my settings

If you want to backup to an external hard drive, I would highly recommend SuperDuper! I use it and it's very good, you can schedule in backups or manually do them and it's quite efficient. It will clone and make a bootable backup of your hard drive.
