Complete uninstall of X11
Ok, I installed X11 to use GIMP and OpenOffice. Then, X11 started acting funky and wanted to re-install. I know to uninstall you just drag an application to the trash, but when I did this X11 still ran. I then emptied the trash and now when I try to re-install I can't because it says a newer version exists on my machine.
To my knowledge, OS X has no registry, so what's up? Why does it still read X11 on my machine if I dragged the icon to the trash.
Any help that can be provided is appreciated! Thanks! :black:

- Specs:
- 2 x 3.0GHz Quad-Core, 6GB OS X 10.6.8 | 15in MacBook Pro 2.2GHz OS X 10.6.8 | 64GB iPad 2 WiFi
You will need to go to the receipts folder and remove any references to X11, which I believe is located in the system -> library folder. Then you should be able to re-install.
