since the existing posts are so old i wonder if anyone can recommend two or three good torrent downloaders. i have xtorrent, which i had to pay for, and transmission, which i have had trouble figuring out how to use. sorry for being so dumb but can't figure out how to launch an internet search from transmission.

if someone could just tell me how to launch a search in transmission. i click open what looks like a search box at the top and hit enter but nothing happens. xtorrent works but i fear it isn't all that good. how do you launch a search in transmission. i tried vuse, installed and launched searches for a couple of prominent items, and neither showed up. it wanted me to download a torrent and i did. still nothing.

why dont you just use sites like piratebay.org and isohunt rather than searching within the program

when you download the torrent, double click it and itll open in your torrent program

no biggie

I'm curious as to why this was originally placed in the "Movies and Video" section.
