I just use Safari's inbuilt Pop-Up Blocker ... Safari>Block Pop-Up Windows.

Saft does this nicely and it adds other functionalities to Safari as well. It costs $12US but it is worth it and the guy updates and improves it all the time, no waiting for bug fixes either. You can use it in demo mode but you will randomly get a pop up message after your trial is over.

On the recommendation of a friend I tried it and can't go without it so I am buying it this morning. :girl:
