I have the above game installed and it is not letting me open previous saved games. When I start it mounts doomsday and starts the application. But freezes 90% into the restore of the saved games (I have tried multiple). I tried moving the saved games from saved data folder in the DMG but now it crashes when I try and save. How can I get the original saved games back into the DMG. It keeps saying that there is no space available in the doomsday volume.

Anyone have any ideas?

are you running it from a dmg file?

don't do that!

if it didn't create it's own folder in your applications folder, you may want to do that and then drag everything from the dmg folder to the folder you made in the apps folder. try it that way.

The game was downloaded and run from the DMG. Do you copy everything out of the DMG or just the app icon that loads it?

Any idea why I cannot write to the dmg?

might be permissions and/or somehow a read only file.

yep, you should copy at the very least the application from the dmg. there may be other files it needs. to be safe, create a folder in your applications folder with the name of the game (or something else you'll remember). then copy the dmg contents into that new folder.
then you can drag the application from the folder (not the dmg) to your dock, if you want to create a shortcut.

this is how you really install something.

here, check this thread, there's good info on that sort of thing:
