Web based email and OSX Mail

I just bought a new macbook pro, and gave my girlfriend the old Ibook G4. I use my isp mail account, but she uses a web based one. I don't know where to find the information for yahoo.com... I'm talking about incoming mail server, is it pop? I've been looking on apple to see if they say how to retreive that info from your email, like hotmail or yahoo or whatever. Can anyone help out?

Is her Yahoo account a Pay one or Free? From all I have heard only the pay accounts give you POP email. If she does have a Pay Yahoo I can help.

Not unless you pay. They do not offer POP with Free email accounts. WWW access only for free email.

I have kind of a dumb question about all this.... Why would you want pop in yahoo?? The paid service. I have my isp mail account with my "mail" that came with my mac (pop account) and I have the free yahoo one. I have yahoo as my home page and can easily check email when I log onto the internet.
I was just curious....

My ISP is with yahool, it was SBC but now it's at&t. Either way though, the pay mail, plus some other stuff is free with DSL. And I use the Mail client in OSX. Because I hate ads, and it adds another layer of filtering.
