Ok I'm kind've annoyed that half my apps won't work when my .Mac trial runs out but I need some help for my mail.

Once Mail 3 is gone, what mail app should I use?

You can still use Mail without .Mac, you just can't use your .Mac e-mail address. I used Mail to check my Gmail, local ISP, and AOL e-mail accounts. It supports POP and IMAP accounts.

All of the apps that support .mac will still work, you just won't have the easy integration that .mac offers... but most people get by just fine without it.
