hi. I'm on a macbook with 1gb ram and no modifications and looking to start gaming on it. i downloaded a quake 4 demo to see how it would run and, while it looks decent, it runs rather slow. Is there any way to increase the playability? I'd think that, paying this much for a computer, it could run a game. thanks

no dedicated video means pretty much no 3d gaming on a macbook. even sim games are a stretch now...

check here for more info, and please add your experiences with quake!
what games are working on your macbook?
