Welcome here tomleep1! Hope you enjoy your stay!
I would completely wipe Safari from your hard drive and reinstall it if I were you. I think that AppZapper lets you use it for five times before you have to buy your licence, or at least it used to. Use AppZapper if you can. If you can't, drag Safari's icon to the trash, then look in your Macintosh HD for the bits still lying around like in: Macintosh HD ---> your user account ---> Library ---> Caches ---> Safari Macintosh HD ---> your user account ---> Library ---> Preferences ---> com.apple.Safari.plist Macintosh HD ---> your user account ---> Library ---> Safari Then use CharlesSoft's Pacifist to select Safari and reinstall it from your Mac OS X installation disk. OpenTransport in your crash log... isn't that an OS 9 thing, though? Hope this helps :girl: |

You could download AppDelete which is a free program and uninstalls programs and all their nasty little files that could be placed elsewhere. I use this. Works well for me.
Also, ever thought about installing Mozilla Firefox 2.0 and using that instead of Safari? It does a lot better with webpages that Safari does. I've come across Safari not viewing pages correctly quite a few times. With Firefox, I haven't come to any problem yet... 'cept for being on a mac. Thanks! |
