safari can only open once?

If I open safari and go to a website, when I open safari again it just opens the same one as I have open. I can only open it once, so I cant go to two different sites at the same time:S
Know how to fix this? Or is there even a way?

open a new window
go to file->new window
or hit command +n

or start tab browsing. turn on tab browsing in the system preferences, and press command+T or file->new tab
