Alternative for Office :mac ?

Does anyone know of a free alternative for using microsofts Office. like the way you have Open Office on pc, is their any free open source software out their that can handle word documents. ?

NeoOffice. It is the Mac OS X port of Open Office. Works well.

Ok... silly me, sorry. found Open Office for Mac, didnt think it existed, but it does, both PowerPc and Intel versions
