DVD ripping program

anyone know a program that can rip DVDs onto a harddrive besides mac the ripper? it only turns the dvd into a bunch of weird files on my comp...

What do you want to rip it to? MacTheRipper is doing what it's supposed to do and making the Video_TS Folder with the files for burning to another DVD. In other words, MTR is for ripping the movie for reburning to a DVD. If you want to rip the DVD to say an AVI or MP4 for viewing on the computer, then try Handbrake. Very nice program.
