OS 10.4 - connecting OS "Mail" to established POP server

Is it possible to connect to an established POP account using the OS's "Mail" application, or whatever it's called? If possible how??

If you are asking if it is possible to have OS X retrieve mail for a POP account (Gmail for example), then yes.. just a matter of setting the POP account info in the Mail Accounts Section.

OSX's Mail is a full POP or IMAP email client. It will connect to any POP3 or IMAP server I have ever tried it with.
