I am thinking of purchasing Intego Internet Security Barrier X4- Backup Edition for my new Macbook (i know the preception is that mac don't get viruses but i want too be safe rather than sorry). I would just like too know if anyone has any experience with the intego security range and how thye found using it? Whether this is finding viruses or just ease of use of backup.
Thanks in advance. |

Virusbarrier X is fairly good, but I know at least 2 customers of ours have had issues with intego backup and the intel version of 10.4.8. I haven't tried internet barrier.
As an alternative I'd recommend going with Clamav X (free), Superduper! (shareware) and relying on the internal Firewall. |
