How to Convert AVI to MPG

I've used DIVX doctor to do stuff like that. There are numerous other apps too. ffMPEG also does that I believe, but requires additional downloads.

DIVX doctor should do the trick - should be a free download.

cradom covered the big ones. My personal preference is ffmpegx over the others because of how simple the interface is.
