When I try to send anyone files on MSN Messenger it is very slow. Any ideas why this could be, as we're both on Broadband?

May it be because I'm Mac and they're Windows?

Unfortunately I find that MSN file transfer is excrutiatingly slow from anywhere, to anywhere else. How slow are the transfers? Don't forget that upstream speeds on Cable and ADSL services are much slower than downstream speeds, so you're capped at the fastest you can upload.

It's always been slow for me (Mac to Windows or Windows to Windows). I think it's just MSN, nothing we can do about it!

I had no problem Windows > Windows, but Mac > Windows is proving a pain!

I am on a 4mbps connection, my mate on 3mbps (I think) - so there shouldn't be any slow transfer!
