    Specs:
17" Macbook Pro Unibody 2.66 Ghz and Powerbook G4 1.67 GHz 2.0GB RAM
    Shapeshifter
Is shapeshifter bad for your computer? Does it over write anything that might be important for the system to run? I know on my old PC I had a theme changer and it really slowed my computer down. Is it the same with shapeshifter?

G'day jdgaines, I use shapeshifter and the only incident I had was when I locked in the changes and the next thing I knew when I launched Mail it asked me to set up my email again. This happened with some other Apps too. I guess I should have read the accompanying info more.

To this day I don't know what exactly happened.

Others will no doubt give ShapeShifter a glowing report and it's probably due.

    This is just my experience...

P.S. I stil use SS :dive:

    Specs:
20" 2.0GHz Intel Core Duo iMac, 1.5 GHZ PPC Mac Mini, MacBook MB403LL/A
It runs flawlessly for me on my PPC Mini, but there are still some issues with the Intel compatible betas:

I tried it, but removed it from my Core Duo iMac. As soon as a final release hits that's universal, I'll install it again.
