What site? What version of Safari? Any other specifics would help. __________________________________________________ Posting and YOU|Forum Community Guidelines|The Apple Product Cycle|Forum Courtesy mac: a waterproof raincoat made of rubberized fabric MAC: a data communication protocol sub-layer, also known as the Media Access Control Mac: a brand name which covers several lines of personal computers designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc.

yeah, we'd need to know the type of file first.
One thing I've found that (mac) IE downloaded better, was web archives. I don't think Safari has many (or any) options for web archives. edit: that link you just posted (in the quote) returns with a 404 error. Was that where you're trying to download the file from? Since you said it was a font, it's likely that it may have been a windows font, and may not work on mac. That doesn't really explain the 404, but could be a potential problem as well.
