are there online stores as well as retail stores and what are they sorry to sound like a noob but im new to MACs

hi Devikman, there are games at the Apple store, whether or not you live near one, I don't know.

You can buy games online at the Apple website:

Click here

Also any large store would stock games that plays on PC/Mac, just check the Sys Requirements on the box.

I've found quite a few reasonably priced at www.Amazon.com
And since I'm a new switcher - I've gone through my stash and searched for them at the made4mac link on www.apple.com to see if they're compatible.

If you have a CompUSA nearby they carry Mac games. I have picked up a few there. Most of the CompUSA stores have a Apple section for compuers and software.
