x11 without tiger install cd

hi just wondering if any one can help. i want to install x11 on my emac (1.25ghz, tiger, 10.4.7). i cant for the life of me find the install disk i brought so i cant get x11 from there. i was just wondering if anybody knew of another place i can get it from? i tried apple and i downloaded it but when i went to install it it said i already had a newer copy installed, which i cant find anywhere i also found an installer for x11 sdk which i installed, but i didnt really know what it was surposed to do, but that didnt install it either. cheers, matt

The one you downloaded is for Panther. It wont work on Tiger.
The SDK is the software development kit for Xcode and/or Fink so you can compile apps for X11.
I think the only way to get X11 is to find/borrow the Tiger install disks.Always listen to experts. They’ll tell you what can’t be done and why. Then do it!
