I just had this issue this morning and it was really annoying me. Some applications I had sound, but others I had none.. I did have it in my headphones when I plugged them in, but none at all through my iMac speakers.
So I am writing here to let everyone know what the fix is so that way if they have the same problem. All you need to do is open /Applications/Utilities/Audio MIDI Setup Set the "Audio Output" to 44100.0 Hz and you should be good to go! ---> Join the Mac-Forums Folding team: use 37954 as your team number.View Mac-Forums Folding team statistics (More Info) Don't forget to use the User Reputation System |
