I noticed in a post from a while ago someone else was experiencing slow (lagging) typing in firefox. I am using a month old Imac 20 inc with 2 gigs of Ram and there's a definite lag in typing in forms and web based email programs like gmail etc. Safair seems to handle it much better and there's no noticeable sluggishness in Safari. Only problem is I love firefox..Is there a solution I might try to correct the problem?

Thanks in advance.

What version of Firefox did you install? Is it the latest version for OSX? What I am getting at, is it a Universal Version that runs natively on the Intel CPU in your new Mac or an older version that runs under Rosseta under Emulation?

I have had issues with firefox being laggy on my macs also. I made the switch to camino and it seems to perform much better.
