Safari: Opening links as Tabs - how?
How do I get a link in a tabbed webpage to open as another tabbed page rather than a new window?

Hold down the Apple (Command) button while clicking the link.
    I try to Command+Shift+/ when I can.

If you have a wheel mouse (Mighty Mouse or any other multi-button-wheel mouse), setting the wheel button to "Button 3" will open links clicked with the wheel button (or clicking with Mighty Mouse's scroll ball) in a new tab. That's the way I use it.
