Painting program for Mac? like MS?
Windows OS's have 'Paint' a simple painting program that you can use or to import photos and write on them with text. For me, that came in handy.

Does OSX have a built in 'paint' program or is there one out there fro intel mac?

AppleWorks has a paint program in it. If you've got an older Mac AppleWorks was likely included with it. Otherwise, you might want to try an neat little app called Rita. http://www.frykholm.se/rita.html

I could not find Graphic Converter in my Applications list or under the Utilties folder.

Appleworks I don't have so I might have to try Rita and see how that is.

He never said anything about it not coming with a computer's software bundle, but it is not included in the OS itself.
