Garageband error after reformating?

My 17" powerbook magically passed the hardware test and everything seems fine after reformating (10.3.3). Everything except for Garageband.

Everytime I boot up garageband it takes literally 2 minutes almost before an error pops up that says "result code = -36" .... a couple of months ago is the last time I tried to plug my guitar into it to see what that affected. And it saw no signal at all.

Any ideas what the result code means...
