hi, my iMac suddenly can not stop any pop ups. I have disabled the pop up block up more then few hundred times. It says it is disabled, but it still can not stop the pop ups, in both safari and google chrome browsers.

can anyone suggest me what to do?

Your Mac can't stop pop ups if you disable the pop up blocker. Enable it (turn it on) and it should work. You can also try Ad Blocker Plus for Safari in addition to the built in pop up blocker in Safari. Download it from here.

Disabled means not working so as suggested whack it on. Also consider Ghostery a great little app and free!

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!
