Is it bundled with spyware for the mac? I downloaded it for my iMac intel and it runs well, its just thats the only thing that scares me. However, mac's dont get spyware AFAIK , but please let me know!!!!!

Mac Specs: Mac Pro 8x3.0ghz 12gb ram 8800GT , MBP 2.16 2GB Ram 17 inch.

PowerBookG4 is offline
It is not bundled with spyare at all, I have had it for over a year on my powerbook and 3 months on my powerback and I have not noticed any reason to say it is.

When I have heard of spyware on LimeWire I believe they mean the 2k files that are benign on Mac

When you search for files, sometimes your hits will be way too small to be the what the subject says, e.g., the Metallica mp3 I was searching for is only 2K big, when most mp3s are 3-4MB. These are usually not music, but spyware disguised as something else. If you pay attention to the filesize/name they aren't a problem for Windows or Mac.

oh i didnt mean search results so much as just spyware integrated within the limewire program/installer

nah...that's the only spyware I've ever heard. No spyware inside.
