    What's the best app to remove duplicate files on a Mac?

    I can't recommend any to you because most of them are too aggressive in that they may remove some files that are needed - which the app thinks is a duplicate.

    Gemini lets you pick which, if any, files to delete. It's the best I've found.

    Araxis Find Duplicate Files

    Will find all exact duplicates irrespective of file name and allow you to choose which to delete.
    Experience teaches you to recognise a mistake when you make it again.
