Do an internet search for both titles (Google)...and if they are not available at the Mac App Store or iTunes...they will be available somewhere else (such as the developers website). The website should include all compatibility info.

One good place to look is Scrabble Classic for Mac | Macgamestore.com

The Scrabble game is there but it is not comparable with any OS X 10.8 or 10.9.

Also when searching for software for the Mac make sure you are using the App store application. Searching from within iTunes only shows you the iPhone/iPad software.

You didn't look close enough. The new version is there and it's compatible with OS X 10.7.X and higher. Click on the original URL and read on down a bit. The URL for the updated Scrabble game is there. $9.99.

Edit: I gotta keep looking. I keep ending up at the link that says it doesn't work.
