Hello - please better explain what you are trying to accomplish? Are you talking about using a LaCie external HD w/ your computer? Is the 'download page' the LaCie website? If you do have a LaCie drive has it been formatted to use Mac OS X? Finally, please provide information on your Mac computer (model/year) & OS installed - good luck. Dave

Hi RetDoc - noticed a message in my 'private messages' (not really a PM) left by you - please put your response as a post in your thread for all to see; I may be able to offer advice, but if not then others will see your reply and post. Dave
