BCC not working in Mail - latest version

Hi - have bcc checked to myself - instead of my email address showing in the sent message - it shows person@example.com - very strange. Any ideas - it worked until yesterday.

Have you run any sort of Terminal command lately, or a script? I did a search for laughs to find "person@example.com", and got a hit with suggestions on how to auto-add a BCC to all mails, and that was the exact example email address used:

I don't know if the tips they provided work with the current version of Mail, but you can try.

That was it - did the code to delete the path
- defaults delete com.apple.mail UserHeaders -and the problem is gone!

Thanks for your time in identifying the problem and solution.
