counter strike 1.6 problem

The reason you haven't received a reply is that no one can understand what you're asking. How about being more descriptive? What is changing the protocol to 48 have to with Counter Strike 1.6? And what protocol are you talking about?

Want actual help with it - your best bet is going to be to head to whomever wrote that 3rd party patch and check some gaming forums of folks that are using it. Best I can tell with only a minimal search, it's a windows only patch, so it's not going to run in OS X anyway.
