I want to uninstall iWorks 09, but upgraded to Mavericks and now Ive got iWorks 11. All 3 iWorks 09 apps are in a separate folder, using AppCleaner Im afraid to delete common files.

Hey,

I just upgraded to mavericks as well. I used CleanMyMac 2 to get rid of common files. It worked great, and so far no problems. It really does clog up the hard drive, especially on a operating system that likes free space.

CleanMyMac is a great program, and not only is good for situations like this, but it can be used to remove unnecessary files, like old cache, and user files.

One must ask are you selling the program?

Hang on to those original install discs like grim death! Using OS X.7 or later make a bootable USB thumb drive before running Installer!

No, Im not selling it, just freeing up space on the ssd. Do you think that using CleanmyMac or AppCleaner wont delete any common file ? Then Id have iWorks 11 not running properly.
QUOTE Thanks
