Is Privacy Scan both safe and effective?

Saw this privacy application program, Privacy Scan http://privacyscan.securemac.com/ Does it really work well or can whatever it deletes be recovered later? Is it risky to use?

It's not needed. You can setup your browser to basically do the same thing. Which browser are you using?

Thank you for replying. I use Safari, Chrome, Maxthon, Firefox, Opera, and Sea Monkey. Call me a browser collector. Will this Privacy Scan do any harm ? The company claims awards for this software.
