Should I update to 10.1.8 on OSX Leopard 10.5.8? I tried looking on Adobe's site, and found a reference to OSX 10.9

Why do you even need Adobe Reader? You have Preview with Leopard.

My question is whether or not the new Adobe Reader works in Leopard. I couldn't find a clear cut answer on Adobe's web site. I was hoping that someone here would know, or have the time and better luck searching for that tidbit than I did.

According to this page you need Mac 10.5.8 to install Adobe version 10.1.8 https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/73/adobe-reader
