Am running Lion 10.7.5

Tried to update Minecraft to 1.6.2 . Click on new launcher link, drag minecraft icon into app folder, and get this message:

"The operation can’t be completed because some items had to be skipped. For each item, choose File > Get Info, make sure “Locked” is deselected, and then check the Sharing & Permissions section. When you are sure the items are unlocked and not designated as Read Only or No Access, try again.

So...I did that. Went to File>Get info. I see that it is NOT locked and I have read& write permissions.

I have no clue what to do now.

I hate to be dramatic, but the only thing my kid wants for his 8th birthday (thursday) is this update. Need so much help. Thank you in advance.
QUOTE Thanks

You'll probably have to look inside the app. Right-click on it, select "Show Package Contents". Probably lots of files to check.
