I just bought "Office 2011 for Mac". Unfortunately it has given me the French version (as my payment details are in France - I live there). I have tried changing the language to English but it has not effect. Is there a way to change the language to English? Or do I need to buy a language pack?

Moved to the correct forum. Does not belong in "Running Windows......."
I don't believe there's a way to change the language if you purchased the French version of Office 2011. You can easily change the language that OS X uses but unless the application (Office) offers an option to switch languages, you're pretty much stuck with the French version. You can always select to use English within the application, however, the menus and help will be in French. (MS does not sell language packs for OS X, only for Windows.) |
