I decided I want to scan all my school work, but I need someway to organize them, so i thought of tags, is there any software/app that allows me to tag the pdfs with words like "chemistry" "1st semester" "project" "math" etc? It can be for windows too!

I have not tried Skim yet but it seems to have a number of features you may find useful Skim – An Alternative PDF Reader & Note Taker for Mac

I also discovered that if you use Preview's Print command you can do some basic pdf tagging there. Use the Save As PDF feature and there is a space to enter keywords in that dialog. I've only tried a few simple tags but Spotlight seems to find the documents that I tested.

You might also want to give the folks behind PDF Pen a quick e-mail to see if it can do the job. I can't find a definitive answer but I bet it can.http://smilesoftware.com/PDFpen/compare.html

Here's another possibility http://mac.appstorm.net/reviews/prod...iles-with-yep/. It seems to go directly to that issue.
