I'm having my hard drive replaced (MacBook Pro, 2.66Ghz, 2010), and have backed up all my stuff. However, I have a lot of bookmarks, many of them in the bookmark bar with lots of carefully-organized sub-groups. Is there a way to save these settings for when I get my new hard drive? I'd hate to have to rebuild it all from scratch.

Have a look here: Back Up or Move Your Safari Bookmarks to a New Mac
Alternatively I use XMarks (Xmarks | Bookmark Sync and Search) which is free and keeps my bookmarks backed up and synched. |
