Hey, everyone!

So, I do actually know how to sort a table in the iWork '09 program Numbers: hit the column you want to sort the table by's reference tab (the little down arrow on the right side) and choose "Sort Ascending" or "Sort Descending." Simple enough, right? But I have a problem. I want to sort a table, but I want the table to ignore the pesky little articles (a, an, the, etc.) that come before the text that I want to sort. Is there any way I can make Numbers ignore those articles, or will I just have to delete them and add them back in later? Thanks for any advice or help you can offer!

Something like this (in Excel) should work. Numbers has similar formulas but there may be a variation or two.

Ignoring the Articles A, An, and The When Sorting Titles
QUOTE Thanks
