Hi. I need help. I've gone to 2 different Apple stores 3 times regarding getting rid of my free trial of bit defender. The first guy just put it into the trash and emptied it. Great - did nothing and then I found out it doesn't uninstall that way. Then went again and some other guy said he wanted to erase my whole computer. Then I contacted bit defender and they sent me uninstall for Windows. I went again to a different Apple store for help and he couldn't help me and just said to keep contacting Bit defender. Well, of course I did and Bit Defender's man named Dragos again (awesome name) sent me Windows - no matter how many times I say Apple or Mac - he sends me Windows and tells me he previously helped me, like I'm such a block head. Can anyone really help me out there??? Or do I have to just throw in the towel and throw my computer in the dumpster. I'm wondering if that is really what both the Apple Stores and Dragos would prefer....

You need to learn how to use your search function: Check out the following LINK from Bit Defender which specifically shows how to uninstall the Mac version.

If you tried deleting it without using or perhaps missed the uninstaller, just download the app again and this time use the uninstaller. Let us know if it works for you. Last edited by chscag; 04-06-2012 at 02:01 AM. |
