word for mac issue

I have recently noticed that when i insert an object into a word document (Word, Excel etc) the icon no longer appears, the file content is there if you double click on it. This has always worked in the past. I am working on MaxOSX and Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Graeme. |
