Quite suddenly something like five subfolders I had in Mail disappeared into thin air. No sign of them in neither Mail trash or system trash.
I got all I had up to last backup on Time Machine back, and got the folders copied back. However, filtering mail into these folders now became impossible, the mail(s) disapperaring into thin air. Only by creating new folders and changing the filtering rules to send mail from the Inbox to the new folders, work(ed). Now, has anybody had this happen? And where can the filtered mail have gone to? ![]() Problem solved. Somehow I had managed to stuff the folders into anothet folder (having a car walking across the computer while you meddle with Mail can do that…). Thus my culp. ![]() EDIT: Did a "Rebuild" on a refound mail folder, and all the mail it contained got totally lost. I do have a backup on Gmail, but it’s not fun. Thus, wathch out, Mail can play you nasty tricks…
