Hello,
I am looking for a tool to organize my (web) bookmarks on OS X 10.6. Wishlist : - sort alphabetically, by date, by URL, by type - find duplicates / resources from the same site - handles not only pages but also images and documents - tagging (intelligent tagging would be nice) - import / export bookmarks to and from Safari, Chrome and Zootool - column view and thumbnail view. - it does not need to be shiny, no animations or coverflow needed. I am looking for a workhorse... My price-limit would be 20$, free or open source would be great but I am also prepared to pay more for some amazing piece of software. So far I have tried the build-in bookmark managers of Safari, Firefox and Chrome but was not very impressed. The same goes for Foxmarks/ X-Marks. I tried Evernote and Simplenote and realized that this is not the right approach for me. I am on Zootool now, which is a nice tool to collect content but not to organize it. Does anybody have some suggestions? Cheers, Johannes |
