Trying to keep new iMac as slender as possible, for I know as time goes, so does the free space on HD. Coming from a PC where Firefox was used exclusively (with IE as a secondary browser) Getting used to and liking Safari, but wondering what might be a good secondary browser to keep on hand: Firefox or Chrome? Suggestions......

As it's purely a matter of personal opinion, download both and see which one you prefer?

I've got Firefox as my secondary, but to be honest, I haven't used it since I downloaded it. I don't even know why it's on there.

Basically, the reason I want a 2nd browser has to do with Facebook. There are times when different family/friends want to view or show their pages while mine is active and the only way is to have different browsers. I also think to those times that only IE could be used for certain downloads, etc in Windows or I wanted a download to continue w/o the chance of me closing the window too soon. Some habits just hard to break, I guess.

You can get around this problem in Chrome or Opera - run FB as you normally would and the open up a new incognito window (Chrome) or private window/tab (Opera) for the next person.
