Programs that don't work with Afloat

Hello, I've just downloaded Afloat 2.4, it's a really nice window management tool that lets you drag, resize, lock windows without having to move the mouse to specified points.

However,there are a lot of programs it doesn't seem to work with. Does anyone know if there's a way to get it to work with Word, Openoffice - or even Finder for that matter?

If not, is there a similar window management app that does work with these programs on OS X 10.6.8?
