Sync Outlook with iCal? Really Confused

Can i sync outlook 2011 with ical?? I've tried to research this and cant seem to find the answer im looking for..Any advice would be great.

I have researched the same issue. Apple told me to contact Microsoft and Microsoft told me I had to deal with Apple. THe best I could get out of the Microsoft Rep was that since the data on iCal exists in the cloud and not physically on the computer, Outlook will not sync with it. He seemed to think however that there was a way to make it work but again stressed that Apple needed to tell me how to do it. The circle is complete and I still can't sync!

Yea, After all the research ive done, I've kinda come to that same conclusion..Thank you so much for your help..
