I just tried to upload a picture to my twitter from my macbook and it would not allow me to upload a picture. I tried to click on my iPhoto library but it would not let me open it. Am I looking in the right place or am I missing a step?

I find the easiest way to upload photos is to drag them from iPhoto onto the desktop and upload from there.

Since Twitter is not (as of yet) built into iPhoto, you should take Mighty Gem's advice. Simply drag the picture to the desktop, upload from there, delete the "copy" on the desktop once you're done.
