I moved your post here to the correct forum and edited your title.

Download the free UnRarX for the Mac from here.

Unarchiver is, in my opinion, the best. Great app.

Unarchiver for the majority, unless you have password protected files for any reason, then UnrarX.

Try my custom Mac Forums Search Engine: Mac Forums Google Search

Please use the reputation system if you consider any help given useful (it's the little ✓/✘ on the left <---)

Not to throw a spanner in the works, but I've always used MacPar Deluxe since it also reads PAR files and so far, no problems. It's shareware.

If you're accustomed to using WinRar or WinZip on Windows, you'll feel right at home with BetterZip. It costs a few bucks, but it's well worth it in my opinion - it's one of the few Mac archiving utilities that doesn't immediately extract data upon execution (i.e. you can pick and choose what you want to extract).

Liquid and computers don't mix. It might seem simple, but we see an incredible amount of people post here about spills. Keep drinks and other liquids away from your expensive electronics!
