I just finished exporting a project from Final Cut Pro X. It is 720x480, uses some HD video (although clearly not exported as HD), and is 1 hour 14 min long. The exported size is 26GB, which seems CRAZY, and I'd like to get it down to a size where I can fit in on a DVD with menus (created in iDVD). I also don't want to buy Compressor, or anything else.
What settings can I use in Final Cut to export to a size that fits on a DVD? Can I use a free converter like MPEG streamclip or Handbrake to do it?
